  Army Small Computer Program

The Army anticipates that the greatest opportunity for IT cost avoidance will be obtained by consolidating IT requirements and has designated the Army Small Computer Program (ASCP) as the primary source for commercial hardware, software and services acquisitions within the Army (Army Business Initiatives Council Initiative No. IT-A-03-21). AR 25-1 directs that all IT support services will be obtained by the DOIMS using existing Army contracts. All commercial IT purchases must be submitted to the ASCP office. If the ASCP office is incapable of fulfilling a request, a waiver may be granted allowing the purchaser to acquire IT hardware, software, and services from another approved source. (DA Pam 25-1-1).

  Army Contracting Agency

The Army Contracting Agency (ACA), Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4) has awarded Lockheed Martin an indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contract established by the Army’s Program Executive for Enterprise Information Systems and managed by the Army Small Computer Program. The award includes three base years and three two-year options. ITES 2S provides customers a flexible, simple means of meeting IT needs quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively. The contract scope is broad, providing solutions to support the Army's enterprise infrastructure and infostructure. Ordering under the contract is decentralized, and is authorized for the Army, Department of Defense, or any Federal agency. Orders may be placed by any contracting officer in the aforementioned agencies.
